My Favorite Television Programs

        Fear Factor is one of my favorite television shows, which I always like to watch with my lovely family. It is an American reality gross show that coerces the competitors to face their fears. The competitors usually are three men and three women or in some special episodes three couples. They compete to overcome their fears and win the prize $50,000 at the end of the show. This program makes the racers eat or go through very disgusting things. For example, one of the scenes which we saw was about a contestant eating a row brain of cows covered with insects. In another episode, a girl was imprisoned in a glass box filled with different kinds and sizes of snakes, and her friend had to save her by taking out animals’ intestines and tails from a big bloody receptacle by his mouth. In this show we see the grossest things could anyone do. It shows us how people could act to face their fears under pressure. For instance, some of them are brave and they have nothing to fear, but others are really nasty and they could do anything just to get the prize.

 The other show my family and I love to watch is Scare Tactics. It’s kind of candid camera planned and organized by the crew of the show and one of the victims’ friend. In other words, a friend or a family member calls the shows’ staff and asks them to do a prank in one of close friend. Then, they will set a scary scenario for the victim clandestinely. Seeing different reactions of different victims is hilarious. This program makes us as a family spends joyful times together.

 Ghost Whisperers is a show that takes our attention. It’s about a young woman her name is Melinda Gordon who has the ability to see, listen and talk with ghosts of dead people. In each episode there is a new story, new challenge, and new event. Moreover, when Melinda sees the ghosts or spirits she tries to help them to solve their issues and calm down their anger to see the light and cross over to the other side of the world. Sometimes, she faces difficulties with the ghosts who refuse to leave this world to the other, but usually and eventually she successes in her mission. These are the shows, which we are mostly watch and waste time on, and we really look forward to seeing the coming seasons.
